• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

got a shout out from my "service dealer", rusty palmers in honesdale pa. (I say this, as I didn't buy my f3 there) . just wondering if there was anything they could do for me. at first I said no, then I asked them if they knew anything about a possible shock upgrade on the 2015 f3's, as many of us have had a problem with a very soft shock.(when riding two up) within two hours I got a call back saying there will be one introduced and available around december. it will have a 4 position adjustment to it. the fourth position being 350 pounds and over. not only did they assure me that they could get one, but they contacted brp and now have a service number set up for my problem and a $200.00 contribution from brp towards the replacement. basically covers the cost of the shock. I think it's around $250.00. now that's service!!! thank you rusty palmers and a special thanks to caitlyn!!!:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Really Good Dealer

Thank you for a report about really good dealer service. So often we only hear about less that stellar service. It is very becoming that you shared a positive experience with a good dealer. Would others like to chime in and share their positive experiences ? I have faith that there are hundreds to thousands of good experiences waiting to be shared.

I'm eager to hear any news about a BRP-sourced, rear-shock upgrade. Thanks!

+1...My 2015 F3 bottoms out often and it hurts! If I'd only lose about 75lbs......I've checked Progressive shocks, but they don't make a rear shock for the F3. After looking at several sites, I just gave up...glad to hear that BRP recognizes that the rear shock is inferior (at least for me).

Elka has a great adjustable rear replacement for the F3.

That they do....

Elka has a great adjustable rear replacement for the F3.

Elka and Race Tech both do but I don't think you can get one for that price. :dontknow: hope the others jump in like Fox and Progressive who would maybe be somewhere in between. ..

Whatever you do don't buy fox shocks in the buy/sell area that are advertised as upgrades but are actually stock shocks. They will make absolutely no difference in the way your Spyder handles but will allow another forum member to buy Elkas. Maybe my lighter wallet improved things a little bit.
