A huge thankful to BRP in regards to my tire issues on 2014.

As you know I was less than satisfied with the early wear on my stock tires. 622 trailer tires..worn out at 3k miles: Rear tire on 2014 RTS SE6 at wear bars 3800 miles. At same mileage it was pointed out that my front tires were cupping..right one far worse than left. Pitbull Powersports were called and I asked what do I do: Len and crew stepped up to the "plate" and BRP agreed that the trailer tires did not perform well. They reimbursed me the cost of new tires and install. Thank you.
On to the rear tire: Enter Fun Center in Durango, CO...by this time I was running on a very smooth rear tire (not safe trust me I know that!!)..Pitbull asked me to please ask them to file a warranty claim stating excessive wear...which they willing did. I agree to pay for replacement tire and labor until I could get together with BRP during the Owner's Event. Fun Center also concurred that my fronts were not long for the ryding world..
So yesterday I met with BRP tech folks (Pitbull had left messages letting them know I was headed that way). Absolutely got the best treatment and service you could ask for. I have had interaction with BRP tech support before on an issue on my 2010 (not tires...check engine stuff) and had the same type of response.:thumbup::yes:.
Bottom line and easy peezy ... BRP agreed that tire wear was premature...agreed to replace....called Fun Center...and said "do it". I drove to Fun Center/Durango and Shane and crew 'did the deed'...I have new tires. And say very gratefully. Thank you: BRP, Pitbull Powersports & Durango Fun Center :firstplace:. As I leave Durango and head out for a few more thousand miles of seeing Colorado and other areas...I know my tires are .

Glad to hear that you have new shoes all around and that BRP remains pro-active on solving your problem.

I was in Durango a week ago. I noticed I was leaking what appeared to be oil. So, I also stopped by Fun Center with my Spyder. Very nice folks. They checked the leak, and found it to be fuel. It looked like oil because it mixed with some that was left after an oil change. They said because of the 100º weather, after a full fill up, the fuel was expanding in the tank, and overflowed into the charcoal filled canister, and then pushed out as I rode. They suggested to not fill the tank all the way in the 100º weather. They also said not to worry, it will evaporate.......and so it did. No further a problem. They asked where I was headed, I said Utah, so they gave me the address and phone number of a Can Am dealer in St. George just in case. Very nice.

Great news..!

they do try and I am really glad they came to your aid. Hope the new shoes are better and you get many many more miles and keep us up to date on your travels...:2thumbs::ohyea:

murphybrown,
Agree. New shoes all around is real nice. Did BRP give you any insight on what they are doing to SOLVE the premature wear on the OEM Kendas? New inflation recommendations? Different OEM tires in the pipeline?
Mike

I'm glad you got your tire issues resolved to your liking. I just hope BRP will stand up for others as well. When I reach 5k-6k miles I'll sure be watching my tire wear more closely. Maybe by then BRP will offer some adjustment for the '14s in general.
