Otter(Chad) and his wife Brenda, Yellhelp(Bill), Spyderman990(Don) and my wife and I all met in Cortland today and took off for a couple of the Finger Lakes namely Skaneatlas and Cayuga. We went up thru Skaneatlas over to Auburn stopped at Tim Hortons and then over to the west side of Cayuga Lake and down into Ithaca. We stopped there and ate and then back to Dryden and onto our respective homes. It was a great day and temps got into the high 50s and sunny all day long. It was really special to get back out with fellow Spyder Lovers after a long and boring winter. There was snow in some of the fields yet and we saw kids sliding down hill in their shirt sleeves. I thought that was weird and then got to the north end of Skaneatlas Lake and saw 2 Jet Skiis tearing up the lake(even more wierd) and having a great time. Looking forward to more rides this summer with these guys and anyone else that wants to come along!!:yes:

We had an awesome day, can't wait to do it again.:ohyea::ohyea:

I was thinkin about that route 28 from Oneonta to Delhi/Route 10 down through Walton to 17 tour. Might have to set that one up.

Thanks again, and I will be dreaming up the next ride.............
BTW Brenda and I put on just over 180 miles on today, and will have the 5000 mile pin by the end of April easy

Just sayin'............

Sorry Randy it was kind of a short spur of the moment thing. :opps: I was having a sore throat last night and wasn't even entirely sure we were going to be able to go. We would have loved to have had you and Holly, Ron, Wyliec, Mowin and any one else go. Chad is planning another ride in the near future and we'll be sure everyone knows about it this time. Please forgive us for being negligent it was not intentional and hope to ride with all of you guys a lot this summer. Hope you guys forgive us.......if not it was all of Otter's fault:roflblack::roflblack::yikes: Be talking to ya soon!!

And I was up in that same area, went to Clifton Springs to pick up another recumbent trike. So now we are a 3 trike family. my route was 17-81-690w-90w-exit 42 and turn around and come home, 8.5 hours, home by 3:30.

Only playin with ya.......... I saw the chat post you guys last night. I was just trying to make you feel bad because I had to do spring yardwork. :roflblack:

Spyderjockey,

I washed the spyder yesterday and installed the battery today and off I went.

When you were going to Ingles, did you know Mike was the only one doing inspections? I called Bonnie yesterday to set up an appointment and she said I need to call before I bring it in to see if Mike is there b/c he does the inspections and he doesn't always show up. My inspection runs out tomorrow and I planned on taking it to Ingles this Monday; but, the weather doesn't look so good. I put the '14 sticker on the plate yesterday; so, I don't think I'll get caught for awhile.

I had a great time on the ride today with you folks. By the time I got home I had registered up 243 miles and the temp was 34F I can't wait to get my new yellow ST-S at Ingles just hope it comes in before Sypderfest . I hope Otter gets that ride to Walton going soon as I am ready to boogie :2thumbs:

I wonder if that is something new, I always thought the mechanic did the inspections. I don't think you should have a problem, but hopefully the weather will get better again soon. I hope you guys can join us for some rides this summer. Did you take your little dog to the show this year? She sure is a cute little dog.:sour: Hope to see you guys soon.

Fun day riding

:chat: was good time and nice to meet everyone. Hope everybody made it home in one part. wheels down. :yikes: My wife was jealous she did not get to go , but said it was way way to cold for her. She is the REAL FAIR WEATHER RIDER LOL , Hope to meet everyone on the next ride. Walton trout creek cannonville sounds like a good one might see an eagle or two. Let the summer begin.

Absolutely. I was actually just by the Dinosaur about two weeks ago. I am gonna plan a lot of rides this season, and I will take all of the advice and suggestions I can get. We might have to tour the Lafayette, Fabius, and New Woodstock areas And hit Deruyter for some wings at the Coal Yard Inn.

Just sayin'............

That's a GREAT area to ride--I was just riding there a couple of weeks ago--but not on the Spyder--I was on my winter "beater".
