The Missus and I pointed "Bon Temps" North this morning. We went to vist the Northeast Classic Car Museum, up in Norwich, NY. It was just about a 95 mile hop to get there... We went up through Walton, NY, and then West out to Rte 8... Beautiful countryside; lots of farmland and rolling hills. The ride alne made the trip worth it!
But the Museum...
Sitting right out front; they had a 1966 AC Cobra.... wait for it
.... with a 427 side-oiler engine in it...
MikeGuyver; you'd have had a stroke... Bright RED, and complete with the proper knock-off wheels...
Then I found out that they had another 150 or so cars inside!
I tell you; this place is a hidden GEM! Worth the trip from almost any distance!
Admission was only ten bucks a head too!
We're going back with a gang; the next time! :2thumbs:
