• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

A few new SpyderLovers sponsors

Seems like there have been a lot more folks that want to support this site and of course fish in this pond. So far I can say that all the vendors here have been great to our members and I would like to welcome some new supporters.

I think you know these folks. They sponsored the great event we had last week and would like to me more involved with the members here and help support the site at the same time. A big welcome to

I've been talking with this guy for some time now and it seems as if he's really stepped up his game. I know a few members who have used his product and were happy with the results. Welcome Pete from

Our friend REPOPS is working on a banner for me but he'll be selling a few cool products for the Spyder like this.

I'm reworking all the banner ad's to make them more affordable for the little guy and to give more exposure for the bigger company's. The goal is to provide you easy access to all the best vendors and dealers for the Spyder.

Thanks again for your support :doorag:

Power Sports Wraps

Im thinking about a trunk wrap. Does anyone else own one and if so how do you like it?

Thanks

New sponsor are a good thing. Loving that CowTown sponsor. Just wish it wasn't so far to drive for service. They would have my business. But the problem is by the time I got back home, it would be time for another service practically. Oh well, I will try to make any trips west, coincide with a stop to Cowtown. Love those guys.

Trunk Wrap

I got a wrap from Pete awhile back and just got around to putting it on last weekend, with the help of my wife's son. Looks pretty good now that it's on. Picture below.

Thanks Lamont for screaning these vendors and products then only putting up the BEST. I know you don't just put up anybodys stuff.

I like the fact that when I see a product here I know it's going to be good.

A lot of work goes into this website, I'm glad it's going strong, helping to refine the Spyder (as an arm of BRP's R&D), supporting great vendors that are making stuff for us that we can't get anywhere else and also helping to produce once-in-a-lifetime events like Cowtown's Spyder Infestation!

Hello to all Spyderlovers

Hello to all & thank you for your warm welcome. We are working hard to assist all Spyder owners with their vinyl product requests. We realize we are the new kids on the block but we want you to know we will do everything possible to get you a quality product at a super price & yes, we are state side located in PA. Very soon we will be adding a number of new product designs for both the trunk wraps & 24 pc kits. If you have a custom request feel free to contact me personally & we can discuss the details. Also, keep in mind that we can produce just about any of our stock patterns in a trunk wrap. We also can incorporate logos, text and/or custom design within the image.

We look forward to working with you ...

welcome Pete!

I will have to show my wife your site, and see if she wants to do anything different with her Spyder now. :D

Hello Spyderwolf,

That would be great... let her know that we can produce many different colors & style of graphics or trunk designs. We hope to be adding to our line ASAP... just not enough time in the day to get it all done. Thanks for the warm ... we really appreicat it.

Pete

Pete, I would love to see a 3M clear vinyl protection kit for the hood, center console, and front fenders that seems to get the most damage from rocks, road debris, and rubbing. Think you could offer something like that? I'd be interested.

Hello,

Wow what a great idea... we already have the templates for the parts. Locally we apply a fair amount of these kits on vehicles for car dealers. This film is a bit tricky to apply... you put it on using baby shampoo & water mix. Do you think you would be ok to apply it yourself? We may be able to find an application video on youtube... I guess we can address this when we need to.. Let me do some research.. Do you think others would be interested... Perhaps we should do a poll?

I will look into availability although I would not recommend using the 3M clear becuase it is super sticky & harder to work with. I have two other very good films to choose from. Are you ok with that??

I figured they'd be pretty easy for you to produce since the templates are already available for the parts. I am pretty confident I could do the application myself as I have some experience on applying vinyl graphics. A video would be a good idea too of course, because not everyone would be confident enough to do the install themselves. The kit could also be installed by just about any body or detail shop probably.

I just suggested the 3M because it was the only one I was familar with. Any kind of clear vinyl protection would be greatly appreciated. Let me know what you come up with and what the pricing would be. I'd like to keep my new paint job looking good.

I am sure that these will be an item that people would be interested in.

OH.... and do you have any vinyl graphics available for the Corbin saddlebags yet?? I am looking for something to go in the indentation on the side of the bags.

Let me know.

~Katlyn~

Hello Katlyn,
I have a phone call already in to my vinyl contact, we'll see what they have available. We would have to determine how high up to make the hood kit, no need to cover the complete hood. Do you have an indication of the area you would like to cover? Just measure up from the front nose..

Also, regarding the bags, I do not have any access to them but if you were to template the areas you would like declas produced we can create a kit based on your templates. All you need is some large paper & a pencil & just stencil the bodylines onto the paper... It's not hard you just have to hold the paper in place..

I'll keep you posted on the paint protection film..
Pete
