• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

A Dead Horse Post? But, am going to beat it anyway

Has anyone ever actually asked someone from BRP why they are putting the valve check on the maintenance schedule at this interval as it hardly ever needs done and in fact many dealers are not even doing it? This sounds like another deal where BRP is not listening or paying attention to the owners or especially the dealers. While they did adjust the oil change interval, it sounds like someone at HQ needs to render and adjustment to the adjustment schedule.

Sent from the corner of walk and don't walk...

BRP maintenance schedule calls for the plugs to be replaced at 14,000 miles...12 model RTs have OEM iridium plugs that should last twice that mileage at least, IMHO. Also, brake fluid and coolant are to be replaced at 14,000 miles or 2 years whichever occurs first. Don't think brake fluid or coolant are affected by mileage so why not drop the mileage replacement criteria and stick with the time requirement?
