• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

A couple of question for all you Drift owners

Here's the deal. My new Drift HD170 Stealth camera I got for Christmas took a dump on my little trip to Ludington this past weekend.

I contacted Drift and they no longer make the HD170 Stealth. So my options are to receive a refurbished Stealth or a new Drift HD at no cost to me. I only paid 160 bucks for the HD170 Stealth so getting the new Drift HD at that price is outstanding.

So here's the questions.

For anyone that has used both.
Which one did you like the best and why?

If I go with the Drift HD my SDHC memory card will not work. So my second question is to those of you that own the Drift HD.
What microSDHC card do you use or recommend?

Thanks, Mark

Drift 170 Stealth Still Available

I just purchased my Drift camera before heading down to Durango this past June...I got it from B&H Photo - www.BandH.com - if you really like that one I would go with the refurbished one, I have purchased a few refurbished items and have had very good luck with them.

If they are gonna give you the new one that is lighter , smaller and has a higher mega pixel on still shots then get it. The newer drift uses a different battery. The micro SD cards I have a couple different brands and they all work fine.
