• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

When it rains, it pours or so the saying goes. We got 20" last night, more on the way.

Our neighborhood. The water has risen since this pics was taken...

The back of our house. The lake is really for flood retention with nine foot embankments sloping down to a small pond.

I know there are people out there who have already been flooded out. Sending prayers to y'all who have been affected by the storm...

As a side note, don't want to hear any more whining about the how much snow you got....

Oh yeah....

lived a couple times in Texas and you are right ... it can pour...:yikes: you'll be need a boat there soon....

Dodged a bullet...

At 10 pm the water was three feet from the house, the lake was starting to come over the edge. We raised as much furniture on soup cans as we could, had an extra beer and went to bed.

The house stayed dry and the water is receding now. On the road, it's almost down to the gutters. Think it will take a while for the lake to become a pond again, but it did it's job.

Thank you all for your kind thoughts and will see you at Spyderfest!

Seen some of the deviation on the news.:yikes:.
 for those that lost their lives..

We live a couple miles from 290 and Huffmeister and parts of our neighborhood did flood. We were very lucky!

Sending prayers to the family and loved ones...
