• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

A big thanks to you all and BRP

I just want to thank you all for making this site what it is. It's the members and the great vendors that help make this place special and I'm sorry I wasn't able to mention you all by name as I was limited but just to let you know you all mean a lot to me. Thanks for your friendship and support. nojoke

And letting me sling my crap at people and the reactions from everybody and promise to continue after my busy season is over and honored to call you friend

I agree with the others Lamonster, THANK YOU!!! If this site didn't exist I would never have gotten the insight to the RT I did and that ultimately lead me to buy one and I'm having a ball now. Can't believe what I was missing. Despite all the bad we hear in here this is still one great machine. and SPYDERLOVERS.COM is one great site.

It's this very forum that has helped me get my Spyder fixed and running right. My trike is now my daily chariot to work and back.

Kudos to you Lamonster.

As others have said all the thanks goes to you. And because of that I bought my Spyder without ever riding one. But every ? I asked was answered quickly and expertly...based on that I knew that no matter what challenge I came up against with my Spyder I had informed folks to bounce stuff off of...purchased my Spyder in IL because it was the deal I could not/would not refuse. A friend (many decade 2 wheel rider) brought my Spyder to me...but he gleaned all kinds of help right here before heading to IL and heading back to WA...he was ready for those challenges that come to the dedicated 2 wheeler who jumps on the Spyder. So again thanks.

Thank you, Lamonster for giving us all a place to come together. This site has made owning a Spyder a way of life where we all feel like family and can share our good experiences as well as our bad ones. For me, it's made owning a Spyder so much more that just owning a bike. I feel like I have the support and comfort in knowing that I'm not the only one out there that may be having an issue, there are others who share and can help. Keep up the GREAT work and again, thank you.:firstplace:

:agree: I echo all the comments above. This is the best site. Friends made, information and knowledge shared. And the rides... Looking forward to Gatlinburg again this year and Cuba, Mo. It just keeps getting better and better.... Oh, good interview.

Thank you, Lamont! :2thumbs:

Great write up...and I agree with all other comments....if it wasn't for you and this site...I would not be the HAPPY owner of a 2009-SE5...bought it May 24,2010 with 1700 miles...it now has 3700 miles...in just 10 days...THANKS Lamont!!!!:2excited::spyder2::2excited: fb

Just a little disagreement- the BBQ is worth all of 1000 miles:D

:agree: Lamont,

You are what made this site so special. Its your personality that shines the way. Without Spyderlovers, wouldn't appreciate Spydee or ryde her as much as I do.
