• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Congradulations

It took you since November 2011 to become a member ? What took you so long to say hello ?

My Mistake Big Time! :banghead: You guys are great, what a welcome:shocked:, Thank you all very much! Sometimes it takes me a minute to join a new site for fear of saying something stupid:opps:, lol. I have met up with a few riders in my area and I must say Spyder riders are really something special, my wife and I just can't get over how nice everyone is. I have yet to meet a snobby Spyder Rider, everyone I have met yet are so helpful and a bunch of us are getting together at the Rock & Roll hall of Fame this evening for a pre ride & then we are going to my first Bike night, and I must say I am very excited. I recently purchased an LED light kit from LEDGLOW and took my laptop into the Garage and pulled up Lamonster's video on how to break down an RT and put it back together. The lights came out great and my buddy Mike took us on a nice Lake Erie ride where we ended up on Public Square, just outside of the new Casino in Cleveland, it was a Sunday night and the beginning of Marine Week. The Helicopters landed and a big crowd came down to see them. By the time it was dark another friend of ours pulled up and we lined the Bikes up in the middle of Public Square and turned on out lights. It was wild to say the least. We got as much attention as the Helicopters. I gave out a bag full of keychains and Spyder literature that my dealer gave me. I love the way total strangers just come up to you and start asking questions. I can't tell you how many times I had to open everything up and show people all the room for storage on the RT. I have to tell you that I love my spyder and all the wonderful people I have met already. This site and all you guys ROCK! I am a 25 year old trapped in a 55 year old body, but loving every minute of it:yes:. I will say this to all new owners. Don't wait like I did to join this site and jump right into the fun. By the way, I have seen several of Lamonster's videos and before I do anything to my bike I look up a Lamonster video, watch it a couple of times then take it out to the garage and watch, pause then do. His video's are so helpful that I have total confidence in doing a few mod's on my on. I was able to tear down all the panels, put my lights on and put it back together and everything worked the first time.
Thank you all so much for the welcome, I hope to meet as many of you as I can in the years to come, and once I figure out the correct way to do it I will be putting my house as a Spyder safe house for anyone traveling through Cleveland to stop and say Hi, or a place to get to if anything goes wrong on your ride through. I would be honored in the future to assist any one of you if something goes wrong within a hundred miles of me you can be secure in knowing that you will have a friend in Cleveland that will be on the way to Rescue/help you in anyway I can.
Happy riding all!!
