• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

A Big Thank You to all SpyderLovers.com members & Lamonster

I would like to thank all the wonderful members of this site and a Big Thank you to Lamonster. I grew up in Virginia and always had a bike from 14years old till I was 22. I so loved to ride, but due to my Military then Police career I just didn't have the time nor money to have a bike. After many years of injuries at work I never thought I would ever be able to ride again. I didn't trust my knees or back to attempt to ride. 3 years ago my good friend got his RS which he had fell in love with the minute they came out. He kept on me to get one, but I just wasn't sure. He told me about Spyderlovers.com, so I came to this site and read many of the posts and quickly became a Lamonster fan. I finally went to our local dealership and really looked over the models. I wanted something that I could feel comfortable with and feel safe about riding with my wife. After reading almost every post Lamonster has written I made the leap in November 2011 and I am so happy I did. Thanks to all of you great people and Lamonsters information I now am able to ride again and absolutely love it. So far my Spyder has been everything you all said it would be and more. I got the 2011 RTS with the Audio and Chrome Package with the beautiful Blue. I am a newbee, but after reading your posts and truly paying attention to all your comments I feel very safe and comfortable riding again and my wife loves it. The day I picked my new baby up I figured I would only be able to ride it home and park it in the Garage until Spring, it is Northeast Ohio after all. Well I drove off the lot then just had to take it to my wife's work to show her. My friend had told be to be ready to talk to a lot of people every time I stopped, wow was he right. My first ride ended up being a 100 mile event. I just couldn't stop. I ended up in a big rainstorm, and was very impressed with how it handled in the rain, and everytime I stopped it was at least 30 minutes, of talking to people about my bike. I have now learned to keep plenty of brochures with me and my dealer gave me a bag full of info and keychains to hand out, I go back regularly to restock, lol. Sorry that my first post is so long, but I just wanted to say thank you to all on this site. Because of you an important part of my life has been given back to me, I honestly never thought I would ever be able to ride again, THANK YOU ALL!! I do have some questions, but I will ask them in the proper forums.
One Very Happy Spyder owner!
