• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

A big shout out to all you can am Spyder owners, lovers and admirers, I am pleased to join this forum.
I currently drive the latest 2014 Volkswagen beetle convertible and will be replacing her with the stunning and sexy can am Spyder F3S.
For me its all about doing your homework especially when I have never owned a motorbike or can am Spyder. Just bought my first ever helmet which is a Caberg Duke and is P/J approved which legally entitles me to ride with the flip part of helmet up. Now waiting for the Sena 10c to come out which is a Bluetooth intercom and camera system all in one. I have yet to order the Spyder F3S but before I do, looking into the insurance side of things with Bike Sure.
Part of my homework will be speaking to you guys about Spyder ownership, because you are the best people to get advice and tips.
I would like to say a big shout out to Stuart and Jay from Pure Speed and Mark and Ian from GSjet tech for info and brochures.
I am looking forward to posting on here and reading your posts.

Darren x

Don't forget, pictures are mandatory once you get the F3.:yes:

Don't forget to also look at the UKSPYDERWEB.com website

Safe riding

Hi Darren,

Re: with the stunning and sexy can am Spyder F3S.

Well, make sure you order one for that left side of the rode you Blokes drive on. :yikes:

Welcome to this forum. It is the best automotive forum I have ever been associated. Oh, there are a couple of people you need to put up with ( Bob Denman anyone? Oh, Hi Bob. :lecturef_smilie: ).

Do what you can to contribute where you can and enjoy; lots of info with this bunch.

Welcome, Darren. You may be the first person to trade a one-year-old VW convertible for a Can Am Spyder. ;)

Looking forward to reading about your reactions to the Spyder F3 after you get it. Especially since you have not owned a motorcycle before.

ANOTHER BRIT

You can contact OJ ( in the ) UK....I don't know where He lives in Britain , but shan't be to far.......and if you haven't driven a Spyder yet, here's some advice. Yes it's called a MTC.......but don't drive it like one ....you will kill yourself ......just drive it like a car.......and with a soft touch on the handlebars , also the Brakes can stop on a Dime and give you lots of change ( I recently proved that ) also :welcome:.....Mike

:congrats: :welcome:...welcome to the group....best thing is just to enjoy your Spyder when you pick it up....and ryde safely:2thumbs:

Thank you for all your welcomes. I am now working through 21 pages on Spyder F3S post. Half way now, interesting info on comments about vibrations. However there seems to way more positives than negatives about Spyder F3S. All my questions I had in my head have been answered by reading your replies to questions being asked about windshield/luggage/fuel consumption/new deals/etc. You guys are my Bible and Handbook for Spyder F3S ownership
