• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

A better sounding mufler

The sound on my Micron is too loud and deep for me. I get headaches with my full face helmet from the resonating sound.

Anyone find a different mufler that allow the same powerband but not so deep in sound?

I would like to find one with a Harley sound. How is the Leo Vince?
Comments?

I had the Micron I agree it is too loud so I decited to buy the Hindle sounds good on takeoff soo smooth on the interstate. I now injoy my music more. Also my fuel consumption is less, very little backfiring,And looks good. The youshi that lamonster is using is quiet and sounds good. The only thing I don't like about it is the &$@#%$ on the side of it.:doorag:

I believe Yoshi has a series that gets passed up all the time because it is so quiet, I think it was called Zyclone. Still much lighter than stock. I had Carbon Leo's on my SV, found them very pleasant, but it was also dual exhaust.

exhaust

be careful in choosing an exhaust, a lot of the exhausts are packed with fiberglass this will were out more quickly than ceramic packing, there are only two companies i have found that use ceramic packing. "MBRP" and
"LEO VINCE".even though the leo vince is more costly it comes with a standard 10" quiet insert. i feel that if the exhaust is to quiet i should be able to shortin the insert to produce a louder sound. except for the mbrp exhaust which has screws to hold in the packing, all the other exhausts have rivets that have to be drilled out to change the packing.
i am doing some mods to my spyder and trying to make sure that they dont require a lot of maintainence after the fact.

The Akropovich may be similar then since they make Leo Vince. Also, there are some videos on your tube with the spyder using all types of exhaust including Leo Vince.

I have the Leo Vince and really like it. Its not to loud like the micron and not that quiet. It definetley sounds Powerfull yet not overwhelming. You can pull the baffle out with a set screw for a louder sound or leave the baffle in. Perfect sounding exhaust. I got it from Ken at Evolution.

Depends on which version of each yoshi and leo you want. Monsters and the street leo are very close when baffled.
