I've been following this forum for quite awhile now, and it's great to be connected with everyone. A lot of good information and great people. I guess a forum is for posting problems and getting answers, and in my view there are far too many complaints about these machines. They're complicated technology and so it goes ...
But this is a happy post: I took my wife's ST out for a long ride on a beautiful day. I haven't really ridden her spyder hard until today, and let me tell you it was a blast! The ST is so lightweight, powerful and loves to rev. What a great machine through the twisties and backroads -- so very nimble compared to my RT.
I just wanted to post this to underscore the reason we all payed the big bucks for Can am spyders: to have fun. So look past the complexity and problems and take a moment to just enjoy them. Problems get solved; enjoyment is the reward.
As we say in VA, "Ain't nuthin like-em anyhow" !
BTW, the attached pic is of my wife Denise and our daughter Kacey. Happy spyder ryders like me.
