• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

90° Grease gun adapter

I bought one, but didn't actually use it, because I changed out those zerks with the 90 degree ones. Others that have used the 90 degree adapter, said that they had to do some grinding on the end of that adapter to make it fit on the zerk properly.

I tried the 90 adapter with no luck you need to just pull the truck and change out the zerks to 90's and 45's getting all them pointing to the right angle before you put the trunk back then you will always be able to get to them with trunk in place the zirks are 6mm i think check for other posts to be sure of size the trunk isn't that hard to pull

Thanks guys....think I'll give one a try, not sure I can get my old fingers to work properly to install the 90° zerks. I'll use them as a plan B.

Big Arm, if you don't use yours on other stuff do you wanna get rid of it?

BRP must be listening in out here.... 2012 RT Spyders have 90° zerks as standard......

I would guess RS models do too.

I'd be glad to send it to you, but I left it in Tucson last winter.

They are metric.....6mm

90 degree angle fitting

I purchased one at Pep Boys in Palm Springs. Took it home and tried it without any success. Got more grease on the outside than in the zerk. Brought it back and asked for 90 degree zerks. Had removed one from the spyder to compare. They did not have any with the correct threads. Someone posted the correct size. Will head to my local auto parts store tomorrow and try to get a set. Thanks for the post on thread size.

zerks

try 6mm 45'degree they are far and away the smoothest easiest way to go. check at local hardware store or big box hardware section
