• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

9,000 members, cool

This board is one of the friendliest if not the friendliest out there. It was here, not at any dealer that helped me make my spyder purchase. Great vendors John at Sealfloorboards, Reggy at Tricled, Brooke at Baker Airwings but to name a few all extremely friendly and offer great support.

What makes this place special is the members that go out of there way to help everyone especially new comers and those mechanicaly chalanged like myself. First rate support system, great bunch of technical know how with a slice of humor on the side.

The last club I was a Memebr off, Order of the Phoenix, everyone was out to get us.

I agree 100% with all of the great comments and opinions in this thread.
For all of you who have not had the opportunity to meet this guy I hope you can someday. I happen to live about 25 miles from his place, I've been there once and talked with him on occasion. Let me say that this guy is as "real as it gets", He is your friend the first time he sees you, he will go out of his way to help or assist you if you have a problem.

Lamont, I have only met you a couple of times in person, I swear I feel like I've known you for years. For example, I am working on the spyder trying to adjust the belt alignment and not being a great mechanic i start wondering if I am doing it right. I pick up my cell and call you, you answer and ask how you could help. All said and done, you took the time to explain what I needed to do and was extreamly courteous doing so. That is all well and good but the best part is you wern't home in your shop at the time, You were in Califorina on your spyder!!! Dang! You could have said "Hey man, I'm out of town can I call you when I get back" and that would have been perfectly understandable. But you didn't, you took the time to help me. That speaks for itself. Belive me Lamont, if you ever need anything, one word is all it will take and folks will be coming out of the woodwork to help you and yours. Guaranteed!
Thank you Man!

So the Spyder has Reliability issues, Poor Build quality and is just a Toy

Bet like me a great many of the 9,000 don't think so and its because we have such a good pool of people willing to assist others that make this site so popular worldwide

Thanks Lamont and the other 8,998 (Didn't want to thank myself)
