• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

86 and still riding

sealfloorboards

What a blessing the Spyder is to us older riders. I got an order from a woman who's father is 86 yrs. old and finally had to admit he couldn't pick up his Harley if it went over. At the Portland Motorcycle Show, they saw a 2015 RT SE6 Basic model. The "Old Geez" (I use hat lovingly and in awe) Sat on it and said he could probably get another 10 yrs. of riding no a Spyder. Not wanting to spend the $1,000 price for the BRP he bought the RT basic and ordered a set of Seal Floorboards so he could get on and off easier and have more flexibility to move his feet around. Although I told his daughter the shipping was free right now, she want's to bring Dad to my shop and save ME the cost of shipping. It's only bout 50 miles from my shop, but the thought is huge. My hat is off to Dad for still wanting to ride and to his family for thinking of saving me the $45. freight I would have to pay. The world is full of really fine people and I'm so grateful to be a part of the Spyder Community.:bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:

Let's hope he remembers who he is, where he is, where he's been, where he's going and the way home:rolleyes: Just Kidding!

I see more and more Baby-boomers like myself going to 3 wheels and although 68 years old, riding one of the most powerful bikes around, with ease and confidence, I've recently decided for safety reasons to do the same and will buy a new Spyder soon---LORD willing;)

Come to think of it, I believe I started riding on 3 wheels but it was way under powered because my legs were very little:)

Sam:yes:

At 82 years young, I'm right behind you. You will not regret your choice of a Spyder.
