• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What happened to change the name from Red Rocks Rally to The Western Regional Can Am Spyder Rally? Are you now accepting more registrations? I am a little confused but that is not too unusual.

No name change. It's still Red Rock Spyder Rally, but it's the sixth annual regional event when you include Spyders in the Redwoods 2011 to 2015. It's being added as a second event to rotate with SITR.

Yes, still registering. Details are on the website.

Hey SpyderGirl, I'm looking forward to this event.

I have a question, is there a list of what vendors will actually be at the event? It would be nice to organize my Farkling in advance as much as possible.

I see on the website that there are 8 vendors with a 'vendor' tag under their logo. Does that mean there are only 8 places so far where I'll be able to spend my money on Spyder 'stuff'?

That is correct. Those marked "vendor" are the vendors signed up. If you'd like to see other vendors, please reach out to them and let them know you'd like to see them there. If needed, please feel free to send them my way. The only way vendors are going to know if they are wanted at a particular event is if the attendees tell them.

With that said, we are looking for a seat vendor and hope one can make it. We also accept other vendors if they want to attend. Just look to see which vendors are signed up and plan accordingly. We offer the cheapest vendor fees out there. It's practically free!!

Thank you.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

To anyone reading this thread...

Rider-organized events such as this one, rely on the support from those in the community to help put the event together. Donations mean a lot to an event like this, whether it's through registration fees collected, vendor fees collected, raffle prize donations, or monetary donations, we just simply couldn't go on year after year without this.

For all vendors and donors we offer FREE advertising on our website, on our Facebook page, and in the event program that is handed out to every attendee. That's a lot of exposure!! We are averaging 300 hits or more per week on our website and there will be more than 350 people (currently) in attendance. A small donation such as a gift certificate, other raffle item, or a small monetary donation, can mean a lot to the future of these events.

Thank you to all who have supported us this year and in the past. We hope for your continued support to keep this event going for years to come!!

Please contact us at [email protected] to donate and help keep this event going.

Thank you.

If you've never experienced the beauty that is Utah, this is your chance!! Utah boasts the most beautiful national parks in the country and they have FIVE within their borders.

In addition to the vast beauty of Utah (and the surrounding states), we will also have a variety of vendors on hand, a 50/50 cash drawing, vast assortment of self-guided and escorted rides, catered banquet, drawing for gift certificates and/or prizes from our large list of supporters, as well as a food truck rally in the parking lot.

Come experience the Red Rock Spyder Rally and The Mighty 5 at Red Rock Spyder Rally of Southern Utah and be part of the largest Spyder event in the west!! Don't miss it!!!!

I can honestly say that I've been to all five of your National Parks in Utah a few times plus the north and south rim of the Grand Canyon. All by bike. All are fabulous, so for anyone still thinking about going, just do it.
Even the places that aren't designated as scenic are great. The only part of Utah I stay away from is going through Salt Lake City because of the traffic, but there are alternative routes.

Thank you Gary! You're absolutely right!! There are plenty of scenic and beautiful alternatives traveling through the Salt Lake area and the traffic isn't always bad, but why not just take a scenic route. Any of you are welcome to contact me if you have travel questions.

We have already registered 355 people to date and are expecting 265 Spyders and motorcycles to attend this event. It will be the largest event in the west and it's not to be missed.
