• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How far over the 600 miles can I be to have this service. I have to drive around 100 miles to the shop where I will have service done and I'm already over 600. Any Help?:helpsmilie:

Don't sweat it at all--- if you're a few hundred miles over it won't hurt.

Service

I was close to 1K miles before I got mine done. Too busy riding. I now use trip odo B for tracking between services. Nice even increments. Oh, and a trip log as well for tracking fuel mileage and where I bought fuel.

As some of the first Spyder owners in 2008 can attest, many BRP dealers were having problems keeping common parts (oil filters, crush washers, etc.) in stock when it first came out. I was one of them who had my dealer tell me to ride without worry and I could get my first service done in a few weeks. I had over 1,000 miles on it by that time.

I know Forrest bought a new RT at Spyderfest and had 1200 miles by the time we all got back to Florida, and then he got his "600"..
