60 in 60 on 60 at 66+

Ah what a glorious first day of Spring Riding here in MN, Got my RTL out of winter storage, finished some minor farkles, and today, I drove 60 miles in 60 minutes, on MN Highway 60, at ... 66 degree's F. Sorry to all the ATGATT folks, but I did it in a Tshirt, jeans, and sneakers, AND IT WAS GLORIOUS! I'm still grinning 3 hours later (and I just did Grandpa duty with a 2 year old GS for those 3 hours).
To top it off, on my way back in I passed in the opposite direction a Bright Yellow RT though he was focused on the road ahead and didn't see me waving like a kid. Grinning.

Ah but that 66 degrees, after months of 30's and below FELT LIKE 80 here in MN, and the sun was shining, and I was riding an East / West highway. Though it did get chilly as I rode past the shores of still completely ICED over lakes (Elysian, Madison, and Cannon). I will wear all my safety gear today when I head out with temps still under 60 at the start.
Today I will be travelling from one Grumpy Old Men filming location (Faribault) to another (Red Wing) and back. And I'm betting I'll be a NOT Grumpy Old Man when I get back:yes:

Minnesota weather

Just got my Spyder out yesterday. Got some grief about it. 42 degrees when I left in the am with rain clouds rolling in.
I was informed that it was going to rain from 10 am til noon. Silly them. I was working during those hours, not riding. Skipped out of work early then went riding.
Great to get out!!!
