• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

6.6 gallons

I have been checking my mileage pretty regularly. I use my RT a lot to commute to work and in some cases am stuck on the freeway in traffic. Thus I don't expect to get good mileage. But I am getting 30.2 MPG right now.
2011 RTS with 2300 miles on it. Probably not fully broke in.

But can I add something? An opinion and observation?
Gas mileage goes down if you baby this motor! I listened to Scotty and others here about shifting and RPM.
My mileage when I was shifting at 4500 to 5000 we DISMAL! Like 27 mpg and sometimes worse.
Now that I have gotten pretty use to my Spyder and what it likes, the last 2 weeks I have amp'ed it up and now shift at 6K.

Sorry to say.... this motor likes to rev!
It runs cooler, better gas mileage, sounds better, and let me tell you, when you need to gun it, it really takes off above 6K.
In fact one time because I was in a "spot", I got it to 8K before shifting. You know, one of those situations that makes you forget to shift because your avoiding an idiot! Wow did this thing get on it above 6K! I never knew it had that much to give!
Sorry I am a Spyder n00b and still learning honestly so if this comment sounds stupid, fine.

Anything lower than 5K in my opinion is bogging the poor thing!
