• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

5th Annual USO Spt Ri(y)de

Everyone have a good ride, but Carol and I will not be making it as we had hoped. Got home from a few days vacation at Bull Shoals lake and found that our house had been hit by lightening and we have some work to do to get the "fried" stuff replaced. Current count 1 TV and 3 Garage door openers. I know I have my priorities messed up, but that is the way I am.

Sam
Thats understandable, sorry to hear about the lightening. I have a nice brush pile in my front yard I need to remove this weekend myself (maybe Sunday). That storm sent some good winds up my valley and topped a popular tree. The top 15 or so feet broke off and as it fell took several more limbs with it and they all landed in a neat pile over the fence. Took out the cable for cablevision but I mostly watch watch satelite so there is no hurry to fix that. Maybe next year.

Another great USO run is completed. We decided not to stay away from home an party all night due to pending weather. Wound up with 7 Spyders again this year and as last we had to answer a lot of questions everywhere we went. Gene was his usual self and I'm surprised we did not get banned from Bandanas at the Lake. I want to compliment Mackeymouse for her driving skills because from my angle she did an outstanding job missing a large Collie dog that ran across the road between Spyders. Seems like we are doomed to hit a little bad weather nearly everytime we get together as a group so we did have to wait out the rain for about an hour, but as Len says that just adds to the adventure. I want to thank everyone for coming because supporting our service members is very dear to my heart

OK-----Great day-------Maj General and Len pose for a picture----Len is all smiles because his t shirt is clean. Every Stop was a new adventure-----each one gets better all day long---------Then just before dark we pull into a gas station with two over size school buses--------ON SATURDAY ????? whats going on----as we pull in the bus is un loading college kids that have been on the river all day drinking beer-----I had no idea that bikini's came in so many colors!!!!! I think college kids should not drink all day-----it makes them forget about Modesty in public.
THATS ALL I HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THAT.
I took pictures but I had the camera turned around backwards DARN
Good day with good people

Glad to hear you made it home safely Gene, as well as the rest of the group.. Well theres really not much more to add other then I agree with everyone and it was a wonderful day.... I installed the new hood with the tiger Danny painted on it last night after I got home, just couldn't wait any longer,, it really looks good and you will see it soon,,, NOW I need to start working on the old one in order to drive my little puppies around town, they are always wanting to ride with me so I am going to CUT the CENTER out of it and install the factory little windshield for them and see how it works out,, you all may have seen a post a while back about a fella that done the same thing, yah I'm gonna steal it from him... I'll keep you posted... Again, A wonderful day in the hands of GREAT friends... See ya all again soon..
