• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

5000km service

max continuous

New member
The Spyder gets towed (too darned cold to ride!) in for 5000km service tomorrow. My dealer is about 2 hrs. away. They seem to think they can do the service and D.P.S. recall in one day. My question is ....really? One Day? The reason I ask is because I don't want to hang around in the city all day just to find out it won't be done. I also don't relish the thought of having to make 2 trips.
The parts are in stock. Has anyone had this done? Is it just a day job?
Thanks

Thanks,
You are right. I got the service done on Monday and the D.P.S. was only a couple of hours. It was still most of the day as I had the ECM update and the evap cannister update along with the 5000 km service and inspection. I was pleasantly surprised that the whole thing was just over $200.00. It wouldn't even be that if BRP didn't charge $14.00 bucks a litre for oil!
I have to give a big Kudos to my dealer. Very professional and helpful knowing I was from out of town. ie: parked my trailer with them so I didn't have to have it bouncing along behind me in the city all day.
No kidding...if you want a Spyder or any other motor sport toy these are the pros in Alberta Canada.
Martin Motor Sports of Edmonton.
Great sales and after sale service!
