There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. 5000+ miles for a burger and a movie- Long Version

Never having had an IN&OUT burger, that was one of my "things to try while in California" but it never came to fruition (too many things to do in too short of time). Oh well, we are talking about trying to do more of a site seeing trip in California in the next few years and I'll have to try it out then.

What are you doing this weekend? I'm up for a ride to get an In-N-Out Burger! They are GREAT!

I got an In-N-Out Burger while I was in California, but I didn't get to see the movie, and I can always use another burger! :2thumbs:

Besides! We don't have to go all the way to California to get one...They have them in Phoenix, Arizona!

Only to Phoenix... :lecturef_smilie:  Thanks but I have to wash my hair on Saturday. :D

Thanks Lamonster

I wanted to thank Lamonster for this post and for the help he gave me...you see I am the 'gal' who was having trouble with her SE, that he speaks about in his write up. And I have to say that between Lamont and Kurt I was in good hands. They worked on my spyder without any complaints....and I thank them both from the bottom of my heart! In fact, I am still thanking Kurt to this day...as he is still working on getting my sypder back to normal.

So thanks again Lamonster....for this site, all the work you do help us all, and for just being you!:firstplace:

Hair is important....Guess I'll take a rain check on that burger and movie.

Aren't you guys up in Michigan somewhere? I'm going to be up there next weekend. Will you need to wash your hair again next Saturday?

GOOD JOB

Good job on the story Lamont ! My wife and I was on a camping trip at Tenkiller lake , Ok and I had my spyder with me so effgjamis was bringing a wind shield he had for me so we got to gather in Vian ,Ok and Repops was with him ,so we rode with them to Checotah , Ok. and we met Lamont and Ron but Lamont was was real sick . It was good to meet some other spyder riders and to get to ride with effgjamis and Repops . Even if it was a short ride it was the first ride I have had with other spyders ! What a great bunch !

I should be done styling it by then. :D Somehow we need to meet up if we can arrange a time convenient for all. Maybe find someone from that neck of the woods to show all of us around the Lansing area. All I ever seem to do in that area is pass through on the expressway.

Actually, turns out my event will be in Nashville, MI (thought that was in Tennessee???). Maybe they moved it because it's not too far from Lansing now. :dontknow:

That would put me about 100 miles from Grand Blanc. My feeling is I come to your stomping grounds. My deal is a family reunion but I don't know any of these people and I've never been to Michigan before so I got no clue as to what is where.

If you know a good place to eat, maybe we could do dinner.

Sounds good unless some of the southern Michigan SpyderLovers pipe up. It might be easier to keep the meeting somewhere closer to where you'll be as there's a higher concentration of SpyderLovers down that-a-way if they wanted to get together too.

Up our way, we do have an authentic mexican restaurant with good food and the japanese steakhouse is good and entertaining plus all the nationwide standard restaurants. Or we could try one of the Bavarian chicken dinners up in Frankenmuth. They used to have billboards advertising Frankenmuth clear down in Ohio (maybe they still do) so I guess its somewhat of a tourist attraction. :dontknow: And there is the Crossbow Inn right in Grand Blanc. Hmm... the more I think of it, the more places I remember that many people think are good.

Hey, Nashville is right up the road from us! Gotta find a way to get together if we can. A lot depends on how Nancy feels and how she survives our stay at the Vintage Motor Bike Club meet in Indiana that previous week. Can't help in the food department...our needs are small and our tastes are simple. I'd be up to throwing something on the grill if you guys want to ride to Battle Creek, though.

I'll ask my Dad. He graduated from High School in Nashville, MI and goes to the reunions regularly I believe. He might have some good ideas.

I don't need fancy food. Just getting together is the best part of any event.

I'm up for whatever works for others. My reunion should is at noon and should be done by dinner time.

Hey! I don't even have to eat (though I never pass up the chance, if you know what I mean)! Like I said, just getting together is the most important part.
