• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

5 Must Have Motorcycles Accessories

The 2 different helmets and helmet lights would get riders to wear them as opposed to not riding with the protections. The last one looked interesting but all I saw was the guy on the bike. I have a helmet halo but use it at home and use it when I need to work on it. I never thought about taking it with me as I put the helmet down the way everyone else does.

The lighthelmet just looks cool. The smart phone link look interesting to me. Usable tech always perks my ears up so to speak. As a new rider, I'm not fully vested in having a phone near my handlebars, it's more of a "let me look at that in a few months".

I do miss having my Waze maps nearby, these Seattle roads are not friendly for traffic.

After seeing the features/technology and the look of the Crosshelmet, I was ready to buy. Love the built-in Bluetooth integration, the front & rear facing cameras, and the heads-up display concept.

After seeing the price (US$1,599), I think I'll wait until this feature set makes it into the mainstream. Love the idea, and don't begrudge these guys their pricepoint, but... I'm going to have to love it from afar.
