We are experiencing beautiful weather in the frozen North of Alaska. Mostly sunny the last couple days, supposed to be that way for the next seven or so. Mid to high 30's by day (sun radiation makes the thermometers say 40 or so), and 20's by night. The sun is now high enough in the sky that it does its job on melting where the rays are direct. It's already staying light until 8:30 PM. My driveway is getting better as well as the 2.5 mile access road. Beyond that, its mostly clear asphalt.
The only bummer, we do get teased a lot here. Snow goes away and we get dumped on again. We are in recovery mode from three inches last Friday. Parts of Anchorage, AK got ten to twelve inches on that dump. Depended how close to the first mountain range you were.
