• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

4th annual *Wild Hawgs Style* cross country Road Trip all are welcome to join

It a bone jarring ride in a off Road vehicle. No Spyder will survive.
So If your doing a Wild Hawgs, then you have to go to Madrid NM where they filmed Wild Hog's. Stop in the Mineshaft for a brew and burger and the stroll down to Maggie's.

that's for the warning & the suggestions

the entire trip will be 10-12 days some places along the route will be seen in same day
the 1st day we normally in years past have left Covington, GA & stopped for the 1st night in Ft Worth Tx. that way we get a big jump on overall miles that 1st day

4th Annual Wild Hawgs Cross Country Ride

we are planning a pre-ride meeting & lunch probably at the Hooters, Cumberland in Atlanta on Saturday May 23rd.

the hubby says....................I'm thinking we'll meet-up at the hooters Cumberland at 10:30 and we can shake hands, look at each others bikes, sniff asses and tell lies with each other till they open at 11:00

Wild Hawx trip

we are planning our 4th annual cross country road trip *Wild Hawgs Style* this year we are going to the following spots & so far we have 5 saying they will make the whole trip. any & all are welcome to ride with us & see some of this beautiful county we live in.

July 12th, 2015

Leaving Covington, GA

Rocky Mountain National Park,Glacier National Park,Olympic National Park, Sequoiah National Park, Vegas, Antelope Canyon, Grand Canyon, Mesa Verde & then back home.

What is the average number of miles/day that you travel?
Ron

the 1st day we always leave Covington, GA & stay in or around Ft Worth TX, (1,053 miles)
after that we don't have a daily plan,,,,,,,,,,,, some days we will do 700-800 & some days we may only do 300 depending on what all is around us & to see.

between GA & TX all the scenery is the same....... so we truck on along until then

we anticipate it to take 11-14 days to do the whole trip (that's staying in Vegas over the weekend) gosh darn I hate that. hahahaha

would love to see you

when you get to the Rocky Mountain National Park area. You might be here around the time we're headed to the deadwood 3 wheeler rally though. Since you're hitting so many national parks it's definitely worth getting the $80 annual pass -- if you're on separate bikes, you should each sign it, and it'll cover both of you. My husband and I pass the card back and forth (whoever is in the lead shows the card and has the ranger hand the card to the one following).

What an awesome road trip!

Wish I could join up...you'll be going right past us on your way out of Fort Worth but it looks like that'll be on a Monday (and, unfortunately, I still have to go to work on Mondays :banghead: ). Since you said you'll be doing 1K miles plus the first day (ouch! :yikes: ) setting times will be difficult at best...but if you know where you're landing and grabbing grub then maybe some of the DFW riders could meet up with your group when you stop for the night.

Travel safe and I hope you post pics along the way...:trike:

You can get a senior pass if you've over 62 for $10 in person ore $20 by. Mail.

Looking forward to meeting everyone on 23rd.
