• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I looked forward to CanAm coming-out with a driver backrest, but $450 for a non adjustable one!:yikes: I hope that's a misprint:pray:

:yikes: is right. Where did you get the price? I don't see that they have updated their website for the 2014 accessory catalog or new models yet.

Don't worry I am sure Utopia and others will be figuring out the 2 peg mount and have their own soon after it comes out. I just don't get BRP accessories prices. I bought some NOS clothing for pennies on the BRP price. I got new BRP leather pant's for $49 they wanted $249. Bought some new Caliber pants for the wife for $29. They must think we are fanatics and want us to advertise for them on our clothes.

Maybe someone will have an aftermarket for a 1/4 or 1/2 that price.

 I sure would sit on one at the dealers for a while if it's non adjustable, there's a lot of different body types and riding postures to only have a fixed position.

As I see it..!!

as long as there are folks that pay those prices the longer they will be that high. As you may have seen with the hid lights, when the competition cut their sales they started selling them at half the price. They will always be a bit more but most of their stuff is way way more...but they do have nice stuff..!! :dontknow:

STAY TUNED....

SOON I will tell all how to make your own heated seat for any vehicle,
motorcycles, cars, trucks and Spyders... for a fraction of the cost of
buying one.....

I have one that I will sell to you for a lot less than that. It is silver and I don't know that it has ever been used.

IF YOU REALLY WANT ONE

They've been making after-market do-it-yourself seat heating kits for SNOWMOBILES for years and the seat materials are the same ....so it will work.....and at a fraction of the cost......Mike

Manufacturer accessories are always up there in the stratosphere. These days, there are plenty of other options available on most items, so that you can find a better price if you don't have to have the mfg. trademark on it. They got you where they want you on specific accessories for your newest Can Am roadster though. :(

From the new 2014 Riding Gear/Accessories catalog the dealer gave me today.
Has anybody found the 2014 Riding Gear/Accessories posted online yet with prices?

I know they're in a catalog at the dealership and the parts list just showed up today for 2014 online.
