• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

4" risers

4"riser

:agree: I use the same one the instructions are good but be careful measure twice cut once you can't but it back once you cut it off. Take your time and I think you will be very happy. I put mine on one week after I got my RS and have no regret.
 jtpollock.

There is not much too it, you can print the directions off their site i think. The biggest issue is getting to those wire ties to free up some cable slack and then cutting the original bars you need a pipe cutter or something. Definitely an improvement. I honestly would have liked them back farther like an RT but still a major difference and although 120$ seems like a lot of money for two pieces of metal its still worth it. I dont get why they designed the RS that you lean over so far, its not like you are on a supersport 2 wheeler so i didnt understand it but again the risers big difference. Good luck!

A copper pipe cutter is all that you need. Someone on here suggested that you leave 1" more on the bars before you cut them, and that was really smart as then you can mount anything that needs a 7/8" bar to mount on.

Thanks

I used the easy risers from Custom Dynamics, there instructions are enough. One exception the wiring on the left control, has a tie in the front middle of the bike, right behind the frunk. That was a trick to find. http://www.customdynamics.com/can_am_spyder_footpegs_grips_accessories.htm#New_4_Inch_SM_Risers_

There are some instructions on their site.
Thanks for the info. Checked it out and think I could handle doing that.the previous owner put the shaft riser on it and I don't really care for the high looks of the whole thing raised so my plain is to remove it and put on the ones shown here. Thanks
