There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Yep Redfield has gotten 4 feet of snow since early this morning, & it is still snowing. We have a snow warning until 4:00pm Friday. This is a normal winter in Redfield. Glad I live about 30 miles from there as the crow flies.....

Too much snow for me :shocked::yikes:
Me to. It may not stop until April. Snowmobile trails won't open until the 18th. Need to go register the Yamaha tomorrow. It is snowing here at the house although we have been sparred the big amount so far. Got to love it or be crazy. I am crazy.

Not sure how you folks deal with it on an everyday basis but you certainly have my respect. :thumbup:

4 ft and rising....reminds me of an old song, but it, was about water.

Brrr you guys :bowdown::bowdown:

That's a bit much..!!

spent some time in Montana and saw big snow, lived in Conn. for a spell and saw smaller snow lived in Houston for a bit and saw little snow but for biking the times I lived in Florida and California were and are the best. Sadly I never got to snowmobile yet now I'm doing it on a roadster on the open road and loving it...:ohyea:hope your winter is the way you want it...

The last winter I spent in NY, ('62) we got 15 feet of snow before Christmas. Saw a lineman spread a rubber mat on a snow bank and sit on it to fix some telephone lines. The snow kept up all winter, and the last blast was 4 1/2 inches on Memorial Day!

Four feet and rising is some very "healthy" snow. Done it a couple times, but happy that it is not the norm. I have a "big" snowblower--but when it gets that high--it just don't work as well.

My introduction to Alaska winter was the first year here (2001). We got 36" on October 15th and it did not go away until the end of May. That was an odd year for snow for us though.

A few years ago I rode to Spyders in the Adirondacks in Lake Placid and while we were exploring the area I thought how beautiful it was and how fun the roads were to ride on. But then I kept seeing signs that said "Snowplow Turnaround Ahead" and I thought they must get way too much snow for me if they have to put up signs about snowplows! So I retired to Las Vegas, NV instead where just the possibility of snow can shut this town down!

No way I would be around any of this, I like WARM too much. Lol

...and to think I was born in NYC.

But... sometimes the BEST memories come from a shared experience that is, in itself; bad... :shocked:
We knocked out three 600 plus mile days in some real frog-stranglers last April. I'd do it again with those guys in a heartbeat! :2thumbs:

Redfield, SD is 30 miles from Fulton, NY ?

our camp is in highmarket (next to redfield). speaking with folks up there, they say it's coming down now at almost 2" per hour. problem with that is the groomers won't be able to get grooming with 7 feet of snow until it settles three or four days. almost too much snow too early for good trails.nojoke
