• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

After 3 modifications to develop cold air intake, finally finished effective system. Another set of new pictures, lol. I used feedback from this site & trial & error. Inexpensive parts from local motorider shop (cool place), Ace hardware, & Lowes. I made pre-filters intake caps with plastic drain caps, metal exhaust adapter, & 2 types of motorcycle filter foam from motorider. First foam high rating for capturing moisture with quick dry & second foam high rating for airborn debris. Searched & found motorcylce mushroom filters but didn't fit & have qaulity I wanted. Intake hose is 1.5 inch shop vac hose, best fit & quality I could find. Distribution ends are rubber universal 1.5 inch T joints cut open to distibute air all around JT air filter system. And cable ties to secure hose/system. Plus adding spyder attitude exhaust overall air flow in & out has seemed to improve top speed & snap on the take off.

 :congrats:
Let us know how it's working after you've logged some more "Saddle-Time" with it. ;)

Thanx Bob. Will do, put 350 miles yesterday on it, ran great and appeared a little improved over 2 earlier mods. I lucked out, my new mod of pre filter caps with foam was put to the test @ the end of my ride last nite. I hit a huge down pour and ran right through the water & rain with no sputters or stalls. I opened up tupperware when I got home to check mositure. Dry as a bone at JTs air filter & distribution piece and inside of intake hose was dry. One concern I had was the wide open intake allowing debris, moisture, rain, water to run straight into air filter. Even the stock openings for air and/or I think it is a place you can put lights or fog lights lets the rain water run right into engine but the old air box with baffle kept a lot of debris & mositure out but it also kept out a lot of air.

Looking Good!
