• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

3577 is now here!

first off :congrats: :congrats: on getting your :spyder:.

I along with every one else that was promised 1 of 2500 feel like we got shafted by BRP.
Don't get me wrong I am happy with the :spyder: but its not what I was told I "we" was

Any way I hope you enjoy your :spyder: as I Have just begun to do my self.

Check out this thread, http://www.spyderlovers.com/smf/index.php?topic=699.0 it explains it in full. It still may not make you happy, but I understand and I realize I am riding a machine and not a number. For the longest time I was fixated on the "premier edition" idea. Now that I have mine and it is number #2518 and my husband's is #3783, it is almost liberating. When I was so concerned about the number, I didn't want to do anything to change my Spyder. I had to leave it stock and in pristine condition. Now, that I am riding, I realize, this is for me to enjoy and I should add any enhancements that I want to make this machine my very own. Do I think BRP screwed up, absolutely! Do I love my Spyder anyway, more and more each time I ride. So, there you have it. My .02

Congratulations, Brent! :spyder:

I think we just have to put the whole number snafu in perspective with a bakers' dozen being 13 and the hundred years' war lasting 116 years... ;D

(I agree with dltang, I don't look at my PE #2929 out of 2500 when I ride!)

YO , IT IS MR Y . THE # 2500 WAS JUST FOR NORTH AMERICA. THEY ONLY SOLD 2500 UNITS NOT THE FIRST 2500!! CHEERS, MR Y.

I got mine two days ago (April 10) and it is number 3003. I put my deposit down in early June '07. Interesting, how some lower numbers are being shipped after some higher numbers. I guess it depends on what part of the country it goes to. I'm in So Calif.

3003, easy to remember at least ;D

I still think it is that metric conversion thing. ;D Or maybe the French/English language problem. Or maybe the phase of the moon, or...
