• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

30 Tooth Sprocket Update-Industrial Specialty

Our trip riding around Arkansas this weekend listening to the Spyder revving down the highway reminded me that I had not gotten back in touch with Robert at Industrial Specialty. He says they are still considering building the 30 tooth sprocket and are having a meeting next week to discuss it further, he also said that so far the main concern is the inside spline part of the sprocket. He said he will keep me posted on the progress, I still have not installed my brand new in the package Mel's Monster Garage 30 tooth just in case they want to look at it. I am really anxious to install a larger front sprocket to give this Spyder a little relief on the highway. Even my wife asked me at a gas stop "doesn't this thing have another gear?" I will post anything else I hear, thanks

30 TOOTH SPROCKET

allensr, the spyder oem is 28 teeth some of would like less revs per mile hence more teeth.. :agree:

Thanks for the update. I'm still not sure that 400 less rpm at freeway speeds is worth the effort or cost..

Now if you hang that under an RT; How would it affect the launch?? After all; the couple of hundred extra pounds of the bike... :dontknow:
After all... if you add gearing on top; it's got to come from the bottom...
