• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

This is more fun than 2 wheels ever was. Best decision I made. It's almost to the point where I want to wake up in the middle of the night to go for a quick spin, then back to bed :D and seeing we have temps. in the 100's in Chi-Town,night riding isn't so bad. I can't wait for the cooler weather, and the fact I can ride year round, albeit the extreme cold temps here in the winter sometimes, but I'll just throw on my carhartt coveralls and I'll be good to go

They are a ton of fun, until you have ridden one you have no idea.:doorag:

I like to tell folks that they're more fun than picking on a kid sister... :roflblack:
Glad to hear that this is hitting all of the right notes for you!

Welcome Aboard, Let the Par'tay Begin...:yes::yes::yes::yes::agree: Mike...:2excited: :hun: :congrats:

:welcome:and:congrats:on your new spyder. I definately can ride year round.:) I'm not sure I'd like to ride like Mr. Orange with that:cus:white stuff on the ground though. I shoveled to much of that crap when I was a kid. I sure don't miss it except maybe around Xmas. Yes, it does get cold in the Panhandle of Fl during the winter months. Anyway, welcome to the family and let the good times roll. Dale

I've had mine since 2008 and have enjoyed most of my rides and trips taken on it. I ride under the stars, or clouds which ever is the case every morning to go to work whenever I can. In fact it's just after 3:00 AM now and I'm just getting ready to head off to work on the spyder! It's a 20 mile ride for me to get to work, so I get to catch a relaxing ride before my work day begins plus the ride home afterwards. I Gotta be on the lookout though for Deer or other creatures in the early morning hours. Ride safe and have fun!

I know the feeling. I've had mine not quite a week and I still feel like a kid at Christmas. Did a mountain ride for the first time yesterday, and it was so fun. Everyone is right - the more you ride it, the more fun it is. Congrats! :ohyea:

Yes you can ryde year round and right now I'm missing this...

I don't know if I want the snow right now, but I'd be happy enough just to go back a *few* months. ANOTHER 100 degree day today, grrrrrrr.

Welcome

If you would like to join a small group for a ride the WIILY Spyder Ryders have a ride comming up on July 22nd.
Sun, July 22 Potts, Rockton Auto museum, Famous Daves, Marengo IceCream

Jul 22, 2012 (Sun), 10:00am to 3:00pm
Start at Potts, 1033 Wanda Ln, Woodstock, IL

The first stop would be at the Historic Auto museum in Rockton IL. This is a very nice museum with a lot of historic autos and stories to go with them. It’s not just a car show. Look at the link to get an idea of all the attractions there. I plan on 1-1/2 hours here to see everything. The price is $12/person but if we have 15 people the group rate is $9.

We will have lunch at Famous Dave’s BBQ, next to the Plaza.

The third stop would be the Keeling-puri Pease plaza for a short photo op.

Next we can head over to Fire and Ice creamery in Marengo for some hand made ice cream. They even had the always popular chocolate cover bacon ice cream!

Some more information about the ride and our group!
