• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2up F3 rear shock replacement advice

I am finally replacing my F3 rear shock with the 2up. I think I got everything down but what is the best spot to up the jack on the F3 to raise the rear tire. To those that have done it, where did you place the jack? any pointers?

Look for the square center beam just in front of the cat. That is a good spot. Chock the front wheels so it can't move. Might even use a jackstand just behind the jack for safety.

........and just be careful that you don't catch the exhaust springs under the jack....I jacked my F3-L up and put jackstands under the front end and a block under the rear wheel, just in case.

Pete.

Did mine yesterday, no need to jack it up all the way, just enough to clear the wheel of the ground.

Got the 2up F3 shock installed and took it for a long ride this weekend for the first test. I felt the difference in the twists and turns for sure. Backend sits solid in the turns. Liked the feel.
