• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

25K pin

LOL Wife was opening mail and 1 envelope was ripped in the side. Looked at it and it was from BRP. Had a 25 pin in it. I had asked for the 5K pin a few weeks ago. I wonder if the 5K pin fell out? But on the good side I only have about 17k to go so I can wear 25K pin. :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack: BPR must be optimistic about me riding for a while longer.:clap::clap: Seriously, are they sending both pins or more likely someone put the wrong pin in envelope?

I got a 5K pin and asked for 25K, yesterday. A little over 38 K on two Spyders.

I tell people these are demo miles, I am still trying to make up my mind.
Not true. I love my Spyder

Probably ran out of 5K pins OR it's a marketing ploy to make you guilty to get your Spyder up to the 25K mile mark. This will make you have to visit a dealer to get service and buy parts - marketing 101, get them to buy more stuff.

Doesn't take much to get me to buy more stuff for :spyder:, according to my wife, but it does take more than a 2 buck pin. :roflblack::roflblack:

Pins

Back in the "old days" you were supposed to send a picture of your Spyder and Odometer showing the mileage in order to get your pin. When I hit 5000 miles about a month ago, I went to the BRP web site and discovered all I needed to do was go to another site and fill out a form. OK! Today my pin arrived. 25K not 5K. Do you think the outfit that set up the site was the same one that set up the O'care web site? I wonder what will happen if I order the 5K pin again.

Same Here

Yep, yesterday I got a 25,000 when I applied for a 5,000.......... I only got about 8,000 to go to get to the 25,000 mark but if all goes as planned i will not make it on my current bike.

About 3 hours ago I got an e-mail from BRP. They were very nice and gave a sight to apply again for 5K. It is the original site. So I did. You all might want to an e-mail. So far so good.

I ordered the 5K and the 25K pins and I received two 25K pins. Ordered another 5K pin. I wish they would have also had a 50K pin. Lot more realistic than a 100K pin. (For 100K that you should get a plate.)

I also requested a 5K pin and received the 25K pin :dontknow:. Dale

I will be riding in Texas this winter and have almost 20K but no pins for me . Sure I will be over 25K
