There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. 2024 Spyder RT LTD Windscreen Not Working!? What am I doing wrong?

Hi. I'm looking at my Can-Am Spyder and the electric screen has stopped working? Well, let me explain... it's not working from the handlebar left side controller. When I shut it off, the windscreen goes down; when I start it up, it comes up a tad. But you can't control it from the left side switch gear!? I read that there's a 20-amp fuse somewhere that may be causing this. I Just wondered if you chaps thought it would be a fuse or maybe you know something that I'm doing wrong?

From what you describe, I would say it is the button that controls the windshield. If it goes down when you shut bike off and goes up when you start, then the motor is working. So no blown fuse. Hope this helps. Bruce

The control for the windshield is in front of you below the handlebars you have three switches one is blank I believe it's the one all the way to the left.

I think I remember someone saying there's a mode where you can lock it to come back to a certain level and stop wherever you want, it keeps it in memory till you take it out and put in something else, I would pull out the book and check it out.

Select Can Am On-Road in the link below; then 2024; Spyder RT; and finally, open the appropriate language PDF so that you can check page 28 of the Owner's Manual.

It wouldn't hurt to read up on all of the controls for your machine.

:agree: it would make sense for the windshield control to be on the handlebars, but it is not. I did like the location for this much better on the earlier models.

I might look for a big Hole to crawl down :) What a Plonker I am! I was using the switchgear that puts music up and down etc. Then after your comment the penny dropped - the windscreen control is on the tank! LOL What an idiot!

Anyway, it's only done 700 miles, as I'm awaiting my hip operation, so I'm just not that familiar yet. Thanks for your comments; good job I didn't complain on my YouTube channel...

I agree blacklightning, why did BRP change its location but gave us 4 methods to raise or lower the radio volume (joystick, volume button on lower left-hand grip, on the center console and below the passengers' right hand grip)? By moving it, they compromised my safety when I want to adjust the windshield while moving, I have to take my eyes off the road or fiddle around on the central console.
