• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2021 RTL - would someone check their Left Deflector for me please?

While looking to put a jack under the Spyder I noticed some plastic was loose. This is the dark plastic piece in front of the floorboards. The parts diagram shows this to be a "deflector", but offers no diagram of how it is attached at the bottom aft location. Looking at the right side, same location, I see a metal clip attached to the part and a receptacle on another piece for attachment. Going back to the left side I see nothing for attachment and it looks like there never was anything. Would someone with a 21 RT please check the left side deflector, bottom aft section, to see if it is tight or not attached? All input is welcome, 2 year warranty ends the 14th.:gaah:

Just checked my 21 RTL, left side deflector no connection at the aft location of the left side, not too much movement.
Right side deflector is as you stated.
Cheers

Thank you, Virgil! Now I can continue without thinking/worrying about that deflector. Virgil, I appreciate you taking the time to look at your bike and respond in a very short time.

Well, today is probably the day that you should buy a B.E.S.T. extended warranty since the factory disappears in 7 days.

I got the extended warranty about a month after I bought the bike. My understanding is that I will have a $50.00 deductible when using the extended warranty. If I had a problem I wanted to get it repaired before the 2 year warranty ran out. Thanks for your input.
