• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2021 RTL panel removal

I saw the Smoaks video on YouTube on removing the 2020 panels. I am assuming they are the same, look to be. Anyway, in the video he talks about taking the panels off, but doesn’t show how he did it. He takes off that black audible cover??? pauses the video then next shot all three panels are off. So here I am in my shed with Dudley, trying to figure this out. I was hoping for a little clarification and advice.

I did try searching but didn’t seem to come up with anything satisfactory, so if this has been asked and answered I apologize in advance

Looking at your picture, the next panel to remove is the smaller lower one that is below the seats. It just pops off working from the back to the front. Unsnap it from the area near the passenger foot peg and then slowly release it moving to the front. IIRC, there are maybe 4-6 friction spring clips that hold it in place.

Then the large front piece comes off which is more complex because it has a combination of torx screws (3?), push pins and friction spring clips. The push pins are up in the frunk area (2 or 3 of them IIRC). I think the little louvered center piece in the middle of the frunk needs to come out too - it pops out by pushing in on both sides.

Go slow and don't force things (DAMHIK) - once you do it a couple of times, it is a lot easier.
