2021 RTL Armrest and heated grip trim...

Just got my 2021 RTL and added the BRP armrests. I added the armrests and slid the rubber trim pieces on the heated grips down to their original position. Front heated grip rubber trim piece was no problem but the rear rubber trim piece didn't fit like it did without the armrest. What am I doing wrong or is this another trim problem with the armrest fit?

My solution was to use an exacto knife and trim off the tab on the rear grip shroud on the inside taking care to leave the inside of the shroud intact. The shroud fit like it was supposed to then. I haven't figured out a gap filler yet but I'll post what I did.
