• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I took delivery of my 2020 RT Limited (dark, chalk) in late March, 2020. It had a build date, if I remember right, in February, 2020. I went out and did a quick look and couldn't find a sticker. It did not have any of the issues that the earlier built models had. I would think you should be OK.

I have 19,975 miles on it and just had my brake light switch and spring replaced under warranty. Other than that, no issues.

Your bike will not come with a belt tensioner mine was built in November 2020 and did not have one my dealer ordered it for instal. later built will have it installed.

If your mirrors are a little blurry when riding, you will need to get the mirror fix from Lamonster Garage. Not all Spyders need this fix. My 2021 RTL built in Nov. 2020 did. Fix works perfect and is an easy job to do. :congrats: & Welcome to the Forum.

I have a 2021 RT Limited Petrol Blue Chrome bought in January of 2021. It has a build date of June 2020. The mirrors vibrated a little I installed Lamonsters mirror kit and that took care of it. I only have 3000 miles on and no issues.

You need to check the vin for the brake switch recall. Other than that and the vibrating mirrors (which is a warranty fix) there's nothing else. I went with Lamonsters mirror fix as I didn't want to fool with the dealer. Any dealer has to honor the warranty.

Be sure and check for gap and fit issues around the passenger seat. Some built in early 20 had to have zip ties to hold things together. I'm not sure of the manufacture date of when they were fixed.

That was only affecting 2020 models . Corrected mid 2020 model year. 2021 model year (regardless of production date) should not be affected.

My 2021 was manufactured before Sept. 2020. Mirrors were mentioned already. I just had my front sprocket replaced with BRP's current one due to the whining noise between 45 and 50 in 5th gear. I also had the dealer install a belt tensioner as it didn't come with one.

My '21 was built this year. The only issue with prep was the tire pressure in all three tires was 10 psi high. Otherwise, Paul delivered it with a full tank of gas!

Welcome! Your GPS/Accessory Power Plug may be wired in reverse - this was an error on many earlier production models - I am not sure when when this was corrected. There are simple adapters to correct the reverse polarity. If you are interested, I have a new BRP factory Belt Tensioner for sale. :)

Its on the label with the vin# and Gvwr.
Mike from I motorsports sales took a picture of it and a separate picture of the trike and sent them to me.image0.jpg

Time can be a big issue, it tends to disappear when you take these out. There is also a tendency to end up much farther from home than you expected.

(Do make sure they take care of any bulletins before they deliver it, including the gap between the back seat and plastic around it, but there aren't any major issues I'm aware of. For me, a the Baja Ron (anti-) sway bar was a necessity.)

Ok
Second dumb question, Where is that sticker?

The label with the VIN is on the left side of the rear swing arm. At least it is on 2019 RTs and 2014 STs.

As I recall there is a label under the seat with the exact date and time of build.
