It will not downshift nor shift into reverse

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.
2020 RTL will not downshift nor shift into reverse! Ideas?!

Another left hand control module I suppose. That seems to be happening a lot around here lately.

You have probably just joined the waiting list for a new left hand control module. A search here will find a lot of owners are having that issue. BRP has changed the unit and they are caught up in the supply lines backup. Contact your dealer.

Sadly passed away, December '23.
I've been waiting since Oct for the left hand multi function switch to be released by BRP. That's for my 2018 RT Limited. Can't shift into Reverse, no manual down shift (down shifts automatically) and can't shift into Neutral without restarting the bike. It was a known issue by BRP on the 2018 F3's and RT's. Replacement is covered under my extended warranty, which is a blessing since without the warrant it would set me back about $954.00 parts/labor. My dealership is telling me July time frame now.

Did you have the brake depressed when you tried to go into 1st? You don't need to to go into reverse but you do to go into 1st, from either neutral or reverse.
