• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2020 RTL Reflector on the rear of front fender coming off. What glue to use?

Bike has 620 miles on it and has been in the garage and now I see that that the reflector on the rear of my front front fender is starting to peel off.

Question is what type of glue should I use to stick it back on?

Bike has the 4 year warranty and I would imagine that this would be a warranty issue but really do not want to take it in to the dealer as they are not that close and the weather through its is nice today is may not be when I pick it up.

TIA

Use a hairdryer, to get the reflector completely off, use some alcohol, to degrease both surfaces, after you removed aal the old doublesided tape, buy a brandname doublesided tape, and just stick it back, I won't be that much of a deal..

Thanks, it should be a warranty issue, will just get a replacement or have the dealer take care of it.

Thanks

You can purchase better than OEM double sided tape at Lowes. I've redone the tape on numerous bikes over the years and get a better job than original. Its really easy. Hardest part is removing the old tape.

Have the same problem and was going to do the same thing until I found the lights I can put there rather easy from lamonster.com . Check out all their items. It changed my mind on a few upgrades.

I just went with the tricLed ones based on recommendations from this forum. Until recently, when I got to ride behind a couple of other Spyders, I hadn’t realized the difference that makes. Really impressed by the visibility increase…

I had one start peeling off on my F3S front fender. As above, I used a hair dryer to warm it up and peel it off. I also removed the other side. A little Goo Be Gone on the residue and done. I like it better.
