• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2020 RTL - Is it hard to knock your front wheels out of alignment?

Hi
I was wondering how well built the front ends are on these bikes?

Reason I ask while making a slow speed u turn in a parking lot I bumped up against a curb.

It did not scuff the tire but left a little rim rash.

The bike still seems to handle ok ( also I do have the baja ron bar) if that would make a difference?
Called the dealer to get a quote for the heck of it and they told me 3hrs @$138 per hr to do a front end alignment

I also doubt that you knocked it out of alignment, but I've got to say that the projected charge for alignment is ridiculous. I don't like to complain about the worth of someone else's services but, I had my RT aligned at Lamonster Garage and watched them do it. They installed a BajaRon sway bar, LED head and fog lights, turn signal lights under mirrors, magic mirror magnets and three new tires as well as aligned it in slightly more than one hour. Also, his garage only charges if alignment is needed and does not charge just to check alignment. Since you are in Chicago that doesn't help you much but does give you a comparison on other's charges.

Sounds like your dealer did not want to mess with your Spyder. I am thinking that they priced themselves out of the job on purpose.
