• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi
Would anyone know of a folding cane or of one that would come apart and fit in the frunk?

I have one of metal ones that is adjustable and can be split it 2 pieces but even dissembled it's too tall.

Any ideas what is available?

Fwiw I'm 6'01" and 300lbs. I do not use all the time but it would give me peace of mind knowing I have one w me.

TIA

Folding Canes

:chat:.... Did you check on Amazon?
They seem to have everything, just a thought.
Good Luck on Your Mission. ....... : )

If you're after something like the one pictured, which easily fits in the Frunk, the Trunk, OR either of the side cases on my 2013 RT Ltd, they're out there.... :ohyea:

I got one the pictured when I was in Seattle last, a few years back now (2014?? :dontknow: ) I can't really remember where from any more.... :p . I've got a few others too, generally from whichever local Pharmacy/Mobility Aids shop is closest here in Oz over the years since &/or before; but just about every similar store here has them; they even come in just about any colour you could want!

Dunno where you'd get them in the US now, but I'd be surprised if you couldn't find one.... if all else fails, drop me a PM & I'll see if I can find a source here &/or arrange to get one sent over.

I had a Hurricane when I had my knee replaced. It folds into a three piece. Not sure if that's the correct spelling.

Seen canes in 4 sections at Wal-Mart Pharmacy. There's a bungee cord inside to hold it together when you unfold it

Here would be a fun project. Add the hitch, make a holder that could snap or thread onto the hitch and put the cane straight up. Then snap a flag on the handle. A 2 purpose design! Cane and flag holder!

The answer is YES! I have a 4 piece folding cane and if I separate it in the middle (2 parts), it fits nicely in my F3 trunk.

WalMart, or Amazon has always been my go to place for canes. Medical shops will hit you more, for the same item, because they can.
