• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. 2020 RT Limited Power & SOUND through the USB, or only power?

Can I get power and sound through the USB cable in the glove box? Or just power? Say I don't want to use the bluetooth. (cuz I know that is what everyone is going to ask)

I just tried it, and it seems if I want sound too, i have to plug into the aux cable, which isn't a great idea as I have a newer phone with usb/headphone in one jack, so I have to use a splitter.

To my knowledge, Short answer = no
The USB port is primarily for data transfer and using the BRP app, but not audio. That's why they offer the aux port and Bluetooth options. You may be able to find some aftermarket hacks though.

Bumble, have you used the bluetooth and not liked it? I'm worried about it interacting with our senas, which we do not use for music, but for conversation.

We have 2 new Sena Cavalry blue tooth helmets. When the phones are paired to the helmets and the Ipod is Aux cabled on there is no interference. The BRP setup is borderline useless to us.

Also, you have to make sure the Ipod is on and the bike powered to get the music playing.

I have a 2020 RTL, I plug my phone in and run Pandora all day. Also have used a MP3 player with pre recorded music."

I assume via the UBS connector

I have a 2020 RTL, I plug my phone in and run Pandora all day. Also have used a MP3 player with pre recorded music.

I've got 2020 Spyder RT Limited, my android phone is paired to Bluetooth. I can play music that way but my 4th generation ipod nano with 30 pin plug needs some kind of adapter to hook it up the little male plug in gloves. I can't find adapter anywhere. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

What brand mp3 do you use. I have an older mp3 player it will not work. 2020 spyder rt ltd.

Same question. I need some kind of a adapter to connect my 4th generation ipod nano with the old style 30 pin plug. I need a adapter to connect the other end to the little 1.5(?) connecter in the glove box. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
