• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

201X mileage as of today

9347 miles on a 2008 SM5 purchased 2/10 (sold 8/10)
5780 miles on 2010 RT purchased 8/10
South Texas means riding 12 months a year:clap::clap::clap:

2009 SM5 delivered May 15, 2009 = 36,100 miles.
2008 SM5 delivered Feb. 17, 2008 = 36,500 miles (burned May 4, 2009).

As of December 31, 2010, Spyder 2009 SM5 = 86,645 miles. This means I rode 50,545 miles on this Spyder in the year 2010.

My annual mileage has not decreased as I grow older. I can hardly walk, but I love to ride. In 2010 I took off nine weeks from riding due to the weather being too cold (three weeks) or too hot (six weeks). I have not done this before. I guess old people don't handle weather extremes so well. I also abstain from riding when I get visitors from up north, unless they can ride with me.

In 2011, my mileage will be split between my 2009 GS and my 2011 RT (soon to arrive).

As of Jan. 1st, I think my Spyder has around 14,300 miles. Can't say for sure though since it is undergoing a winter project right now and I have no access to it :D

I'm a newby so only have 280 miles on my 2010 RT purchased in November. Can't wait for warmer weather and my husband to recuperate from heart surgery so we can go riding. Friday we had 64 degree temps so I took the RT out but missed his Harley riding next to me. The temps soon dropped back to winter. Come ON spring!!!

2009 SE5 purchased 11 Nov 2009.

Jan 2010 1064 miles.

Jan 2011 11082 miles.

10018 miles for 2010. Not as many as I wanted, more for 2011.

Ron

:2thumbs:

Outstanding amount of mileage under your belt. I hope the age doesn't limit you too much from continuing to rack up those kinds of miles.

Truly an inspiration.

12,632 since Jan 28,2010 on my RT

Sunny weather affords allot of riding opportunities. The bike was out of commission for a month do to a crack in the exhaust and waiting for a part in November

6291 SE5 purchased 15/07/09

I now have 14, 716 miles, so I drove my :spyder: 8,425 miles in 2010.
I would have had a bit more if it wasn't in the shop for a total of 6 months.:gaah:

Hopefully i'll have a lot more ryding miles as I  all the bugs are worked out and I'll be making a trip to Maggie Valley for the owners event in June and a cross country trip to AZ in late September.:doorag:

Can't make it to Cuba 'cuz I gotta work sometime and that is during my busy season.:(

I am probably one of the lowest ones :opps:. Bought 12/08 with 1,550 on it and I only have 4,790 so far (and its put away for the winter). My excuse is that I have 4 other cars fighting for milage with Spyder and I only got so many miles to divi around. :D
