• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We decided to pull the trigger today and purchase a 2019 F3L. My wife loved the colour and had already been thinking of getting a F3L. Our dealer told us that BRP was offering an extra 2 years warranty for all 2019's, so we figured that the deal was good. They also gave us almost a grand off the list price and no freight, or setup fees.
We were looking at a black and red 2017, but BRP wasn't offering any incentives to move those and it was not much cheaper than the 2019. Same with the 2018's. The 2019 was only $800 more, so that was a no brainer.
We probably won't get it until the spring, since our dealer won't be getting them until early winter. That works fine for us. She still has her F3S to ride for the rest of this year. I am taking all the stuff off her F3S and using it on the F3L, so it gives me lots of time this winter to remove all the lights, floorboards,etc.. There is a ton of stuff to remove.
It will be a loooong winter for her. :roflblack:

Congrats!
What color did you decide to get? I like the new orange / dark color combination.

did you trade your old one in ? you are taking a lot of stuff off ?

Yes, we will be trading in her F3S. They gave us a little more than book value and with the sales tax that we save on a trade in, it is about the same as if we sold it ourselves without the hassle.

I am in the process of removing most of the stuff off her bike. Some stuff I will leave on until just before we store it, so that she still has it on to ride. We are only bringing them her F3S in the spring. Everything on her F3S fits on the F3L, so that saves us some cash.

Although, we will be visiting Pierre at canamspyderaccessories.com for some stuff. He is only a couple of hours from us.

Congrats! Canadians will get a better deal on 19s then us since we will be slapped with a 25% tarriff.

:congrats: bscrive.

:bowdown::bowdown: Same color combo that I like the best of the new color offerings. You are right--it is going to be a looooooooooooooong winter.

Deal is officially signed

We went to the dealer tonight and signed the paperwork, including the document that says that we get the 4 years of warranty included. She did the deal last night over the phone with a deposit on VISA, but this makes it official.

They are going to transfer the front wheels, my wife has the blade wheels with Federals on them, and the short reach bars, so we don't have to pay for new bars.

BTW we learned today that all 2019s will have a lower price than the 18s when they were new. I believe that the RT is $3500.00 less than the equivalent 2018 model.

Congrats on the new 2019 F3L, I'm also in the process of ordering a Limited in orange but I like the bling factor so I think I'm going with the chrome package also:thumbup:
I'll be trading in or selling out right my 2016 F3T with the auto air ride and the cargo package on it that I added, it only has 3000 miles on it but I love the orange color, yeah I know, I'm not right in the head.:ohyea:

congratulations....🎉🎉🎉

Too bad it comes with so much winter work involved...:roflblack: have fun getting all the stuff off and know you will have to put it all back on the new one....fun fun fun but it will be worth it :riding:

I took off all the fender lights on the front and back only to find out that they will not fit the 2019. :banghead::banghead: :gaah::gaah:The front fender reflectors are made differently. Oh well, I am not putting them back on, so I will just sell them.
