• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2019 F3 Base — Looking for Turn Signal Mirrors

Hi all, first thread that I’ve posted as a new member here. I’m looking for turn signal mirrors for a 2019 F3 Base model. I don’t feel like the stock location in the front fenders is high/visible enough.

I’ve seen several pictures of F3 variants with turn signal mirrors on some of the accessory sites, and even on the Can-Am site, but as of yet, I’ve been unable to locate anyone selling a kit to do this.

I pulled the mirror off the other day, and the black front plate came off
easily, and looked like it could be replaced with a clear plate to hold a bulb, but would still need to figure out the wiring.

Does anyone know of someone selling a turn signal mirror kit, or if any of the higher trims of F3 come with them, where I could potentially order the parts and retrofit? I’ve done quite a bit of googling, perusing of parts sites, and looking on this site, but haven’t found what I’m looking for.

I’m attaching a picture from the Can-Am site that shows what I’m talking about.

Hoping to avoid moving the mirrors if I can. Would really like to get a combo mirror/turn signal. The current mirror location works well for my wife, who is the main rider of the Spyder.

Not too many are aware that for 2019 models the Turn Signals were moved to the front fenders and out of the mirrors.

You could replace the mirror assemblies with those from 2015-2018 F3/F3S. They are $198.99 per side on the parts list. Pricey but would accomplish what you want.

705008969 RH Lighted Mirror Assembly $198.99 USD
705008964 LH Lighted Mirror Assembly $198.99 USD

I agree with you IowaF3, I recently purchased a 2019 F3 Limited and came to the same conclusion you did. It's all about being seen, and by going on the cheap and adding a blinker to the marker light and removing the mirror lights was a move away from being seen. Not sure what they were thinking (actually, I do, mo' money, mo' money). The blinker signal won't be easy to tap into, as it sounds to me like you confirmed that the side view mirror harness is gone as well. You need to tap the signal line that runs to the fender, and there is little slack to do so.

Let us know what you come up with, I'd love to do the same.
