In the Netherlands a new Mustang GT costs $140.000,- and a new Spyder RT limited costs $40.000,-.

Tariff's quite simply! When something is shipped and sold here from the Netherlands almost no tariff is charged. Same goes for Canada. That's what all the hub-bub is about lately! We need to wake up to these one way trade deals.

Don't forget, or for those that don't know, BRP spent tons of money developing the Spyder and it almost failed as a concept until Bosch stepped in a solved the "Nanny" problems. I'm sure part of the now high pricing is related to still having to amortize their money from the original investment.

So how many Spyders were being sold in the mid 70's? My better half has a new 2014 Road King that is a beautiful ride. I spent all day yesterday adding new farkles to it. I love to ride it as much as my new F3.

That same Ford Mustang built in Flat Rock, Michigan by U.S. Auto workers is $52,938 here in Canada.

Got an email from the dealership today offering the $2K deal

I received an email this morning from the dealership where I purchased mine indicating they could offer the $2K trade in incentive for me. I replied and said I just paid my 2016 off and it has just over 4K mi. On it. I think I’ll just keep it but thanks ..!
